Cassique’s Tom Watson golf course, club house and sports pavilion are new additions to The Kiawah Island Club. DesignWorks master planned the club facilities and all public realm elements and retained the renowned firm, Oehme van Sweden, to help create special meadow plantings along the mile long entry road.

The clubhouse design reflects English Arts and Crafts Style, and the grounds echo accordingly. A highly formal organization of the grounds, catering to the varied functions of a large private club, is softened and made “English” with informal and robust plantings. Special paving materials, unique to the area, were developed. The clubhouse opened in the summer of 2001.
