Clean lines and sweeping curves characterize the layout of the landscape at this Kiawah Island residence. Areas of lawn, planting and hardscape are crisply delineated and flow around each other in dynamic counterpoint.
At the front entrance, a low serpentine retaining wall minimizes the impact of the rasised brick foundation. To the rear, the kitchen and pool deck overlook a pocket sized formal garden, which frames view of the marsh and creek beyond. |
