As a focal point of the popular visitor destination called Patriots Point, The Charleston Harbor Hilton Resort offers visitors a tropical setting overlooking Charleston Harbor. Located on the tip of Hog Island in Mt. Pleasant, SC among the existing golf course, sports complex, and naval attractions, the Hilton Resort refines this popular area.
After years of isolation the once abandoned structure was renovated into the present hotel. DesignWorks, transformed the surrounding areas into a tropical resort. Considering the prominent location of the site, DesignWorks emphasized the Charleston Harbor and Fort Sumter views by surrounding the pool area with a white sand beach. Complete with palm trees, tiki huts, and BBQ pits, the man-made beach offers an intimate connection to the harbor waters. Tropical plantings placed along the entry drive and in the streetscape designs give the resort an immediate tropical setting. |
